Drill Carbide
Take not drill through porcelain tile. What to do?!
I have Noce Roman tiles commonly found in Lowes and I try to drill holes for a towel rack. I have one of those bits carbide drill out, but it seems to take forever just to drill a hole (and I have more than 3 to go). What have I done wrong? Do I need a bit of some type? NO HAMMER! And another thread .. I use a drill 3 / 8 and just masonry .. Icing (except if you have a porcelain pure / true) is the hardest to start.Once should go through it pretty easy .. A firm grip and pressure on the drill as you start is the best .. Watch the bit to run away from the site you already know .. GL
