Best Clear Nail Polish?

What is the best clear nail polish to wear alone, that does not chip or wear off after a day and helps keep nails strong? I have been using Avon's Nailwear, and altho it is great how it dries so fast, no matter how many coats I apply, it chips after a day.

I have found that OPI products last a long time for both wear and tear and keeping on the shelf. They are above and beyond drug store products.
