i am thinking of getting gel nails?

i am thinking of getting gel nails for the first time, and i learned that the salon i want to go uses opi axxium soak off gel polish. i googled the gel polish because i saw soak off, it said that it starts soaking off in about 15 minutes and can be completely soaked through to get it off in about 30 minutes. so my question is if you shower, won't the gel nails start coming off?

I am wearing them right now, they don't start coming off or lifting if put on properly by a licensed nail tech and if you don't pick at them, they won't come off. They are beautiful! It's worth the money to get it because it doesn't chip. They can only be soaked off with pure acetone and not water or just regular polish remover.
