Additionally, you may want to incorporate an exfoliation procedure to remove any dead skin. Some pedicures may incorporate the use of antiseptic oil or creams. Most pedicures finish with a relaxing massage of your feet and lower legs. From there your pedicurist may apply polish to your newly cleaned and shaped nails.
Be aware that as you enter any salon or spa to get pedicure that there are very stringent guidelines for those establishments. Suffering from an infection after a having a pedicure treatment is not what you want.

Additionally, their credentials should be prominently displayed. When in doubt do not be afraid to ask some questions. If you question them about their hygiene policies ensure that you are satisfied by their response and procedures. If you do not feel comfortable for any reason trust your instincts and take your business elsewhere.
When you go to have a pedicure then there are some suggestions that you may wish to consider. Many salons require appointments so take care to ensure that you make one to avoid having to sit and wait for a long time before receiving your service. Additionally, if you have any infections or wounds of your feet you want to let those heal prior to having a pedicure. Also wear open shoes to an appointment. The last thing that you want is to get your toes perfectly polished only to have that polish ruined by your shoes. Avoid wearing short, revealing skirts when you have a pedicure. For modesties sake choose pants that are easy to pull up or a pair of shorts.
Alternatively you may wish to have the pedicure within your own home. There are many therapists that offer this type of service and they are easy to find on the internet.
When it comes to pedicure options there are many different ways to go. One of the most versatile options is a clear polish pedicure. However, another popular option is a pedicure where you names are polished in the colour of your choice. A French polish is usually a two toned polish that often uses a soft pink colour with white tips. Be aware that a French pedicure typically costs a bit more money than a traditional pedicure.
