Eyebrow Shaping Tips
Any good makeup artist worth her salt would tell you that how your eyebrows look have a great effect with the way that your face looks. The eyebrows are where the eyes get that definition, and it shapes the overall look of your face. How to Shape Properly
As a guide in getting the perfect eyebrow shape, here are some eyebrow shaping guidelines that you need to keep in mind. First, groom your eyebrows and make them proportional to your face. This would highlight your eyes and provide balance in framing your entire face. The first thing that you need to do to shape your eyebrow is to determine where it should start. That one-eyebrow look occurs when there is not enough space between your two eyebrows.
How to Start
To determine where they should start, identify the measure needed from the outside of your nose, up to the inside corner of your eye. Now, the arch of the brow should begin by getting the measurement of another line from the outer part of your nose to the middle part of your pupil. From the start of your eyebrow to this point, there should be a straight line – and from the middle of the pupil to the other end of the eyebrow, there should be a slight arch. Lastly, remember to use once again the outer part of your nose as reference, and create a straight line to the outer part of your eye – this is the area for the eyebrows to meet. Keep in mind that the two eyebrows should be the same in thickness, shape and length. With these eyebrow shaping tips, you can apply the minimum amount of makeup but still maintain that salon-like effect of having a perfectly made up face once you get the right shape for your brows to define your face.
