Foils increase the love for balloons around the planet
All ages of people throughout the planet love balloons for celebration at all special occasions as they add colour to the party. If a creative hand is around then they can produce magnificent piece of art.?Air or helium filled for parties and water filled for the joker.?
The most commonly used are the latex material because of their cheap and quick process. But the cost comes with a downside – quick deflating and high chance of bursting, although I do believe people buy them with that chance of bursting may add a bit of excitement to the event.
An alternative to hit the market over the last 10 years is the foil balloon, also referred to as a mylar balloon. A thin plastic material, usually shiny look, they have a smooth finish, more resilient and longer lasting - upto two weeks before they look slightly sad but they helium will keep a lift for several weeks. The increased costs of foils can make a more professional finish – as always, you pay for what you get !
Artists and decorators have also started to introduce foil balloons into their designs. To hold the costs down, many artists are using a mix of latex and foil balloons by keeping the majority of the design in a cheaper latex design and placing the foil as the centre-piece to add a professional touch.
The market of religious festivals have seen specific designs and crafted foil balloons. Popular designs include christening, Baptism, holy communion and confirmation balloons. Christmas parties have seen a whole range of products released by the major manufacturers. Easter and- Hanukkah – are also catered for.
The foil balloon is not restricted to a round or star shape. Popular licencsed cartoon characters and superheros are commonly sold in the shape of a specific stand or pose. Big numbers and heart shapes are also very popular .
Foil balloons have had a big impact on the balloon market and have proved they can work along side the more traditional latex balloon without fazing out the old classic.
