Corum Ladies Vintage Limited Edition Ghost Trio

When René Bannwart Corum created in 1955, he was determined to put it in the forefront watch industry. This choice has resulted in some amazing designs that have become classics watches, such as the Admiral and Romvlvs Cup, and even the icons in their own right, as the Golden Bridge. Corum, however, chose to express his creativity exclusively by male models, but also made his mark by creating the introduction of ladies' watches. 2010 provides an opportunity to rediscover three of them, because they must be re-issued in limited series.

The tube of gold ... a 1950's style icon

The first Part of this collection is the gold tube, which dates back to 1957. It embodies the inimitable style of the 1950s, a simple design and geometry that remains steeped a truly whimsical touch, while radiating a single graceful elegance.

Fully reflecting the spirit of the time, gold tube is in phase with the "Sack" dresses with their straight, clean lines launched by Hubert de Givenchy 19571.

The Golden Tube - As a watch as a gem - is indeed formed by a mmlong 31, 14.5 mm diameter tube that is worn like a watch cuff. Freely set the bracelet along which it glides, this tube can be wrapped around the wrist like a lucky charm on her bracelet. Polished gold case is surrounded by lines forming a diamond-set gadroons. Its sides are also set with precious stones concentric lines. The model is thus embellished than 342 precious stones in all, totaling 3.58 carats. The second edition of this trio of collectible watches was introduced in 1958. Dubbed the Chinese hat, its form does mention the hat worn by farmers working in rice fields of the Middle Kingdom.
