How can I prevent eye shadow from falling into your eyes?

I have contacts and a problem of dry eyes. Basically, My eyes do not produce the normal amount of tears. My contacts are great - the type Silicon Oasis. However, when I wear eye shadow, my eyes can not flush out the dust that falls spark in them. I rub my eyes so that everything is cleared after about 30 minutes and I have to take my contacts. I recently bought a cream eye shadow preparation of urban decay, but have not tried it yet. Is there anything else I can do? Some tips, etc? Thank you!

Do not use glitter or dusty eyelids. use plain ones, otherwise it'll continue in ur eyes.
