Colors Dust
was cleaning the computer of today and the dust changed my colors on my monitor?
How can I fix colors on my monitor? I cleaned my computer today and was very careful not to get the dust flying around and when I turned on my computer the colors on my screen are running into each other like glue in a purple shade look. I know you go to control panel and click display that does not fix it. Except that I do something wrong in the display. I have not used not liquid, I used a cotton swab to clean the outside behind the desktop and in the face. I have an e-machine with Windows XP and the screen is so old and so to connect the monitor, it is a link that you screw the two pins in the computer. I was told was to never use a vacum, I have no idea why it was a computer technician who told me that. I had that happen once with another computer that I had and it was repaired I can not remember how I fixed. and yes I had to go offline while the computer another room, so it well be good I'll check the connections.
How old is this monitor? Last seen about something like that it was with a CRT! If you have an LCD screen that does what you bought then either spam or a cable came a little loose. Check each connection and kill the power again. Perhaps this will be fixed ... if it does not work and you have a laptop or another computer or disconnect the monitor and try it on another system or put in the laptop and connect the cable to the VGA if (3 rows of 5 pins off with a line set aside while the other two up the line.) If the DVI then it will be another office. If this matter of color does not seem so sound from your computer. If you used any kind of liquid cleaning solution ... Congratulations, you just might be fried on your video processor board. This means you will buy a video card in order to solve this problem. BTW - you want to blow like dust as possible! Do not be afraid to do because collects not only inside the box, but also the fans. If you use a can of air so I understand the caution. If you have a vacuum or vacuum that can blow air it would be a much better method.
