Gary Glitter song Rock and Roll Part II is constantly played baseball and probably other professional sports, too. Does anyone know if it is paid royalties when it's played in stadiums? How do I know when they just play the first steps Bell Hell or something like that?

I do not think so but I could be wrong. No school or college band that I know would pay a fee to any band just to play their song during a game. Also, I do not think "sound bites" are worthy or charges so that people get these free of charge. It's like your local garage band playing "cover" songs in a bar. Do you think these guys will pay royalties?
