Looking for a GREAT nail polish base!!?
No matter what polish I use (wet n wild or OPI) it chips within 2 days. So I tried to use a topcoat and instead of it chipping the entire nail of polish came off. So I need a base coat that will hold the polish onto my nail. I just bought 30 dollars worth of China Glazes OMG holographic polishes and really dont want them to chip off the first day I use them. Any suggestions? Also any products to help your nails grow, Im thinking about getting Sally Hansen Hard As Nails. Price is not an issue. Thanks in advance!
The Orly Bonder Base Coat is the absolute best base coat. You still need a topcoat as well. My friend is a nail tech, and she told me that Seche Vite, which penetrates through the nail lacquer to the base coat forming a single solid coating over the nail plate for a much more durable finish which is guaranteed not to chip.
I also reapply the top coat every other day after swiping with some Sea Breeze to eliminate *all* surface oil and dirt. Lotion up about 10 minutes after polishing. Keeps polish from smudging and keeps cuticles soft.
