I had a number of slow cookers / rice cookers Over the years, this stove is one of the Best Ever! It is a bit slow to start (with a slight delay), but when it starts it makes a great work! (I would say the largest unit, you will not regret the largest size). - The surface of the clay really keeps food warm and the food seems tastier (with no taste aluminum cookers usually other [modern] And I'm sure the Teflon on the most popular. cookers can not be 100% healthy for many years). - And for the reviewer who had problems with this device? (You've probably just got the unit RARE a defective [It Happens, That's Life]). Mine has always cooked my stuff 100% PERFECTLY and always reliable! - I also discussed society VitaClay / Essenergy Response (CALL [or email] them if you have a problem) and I was always treated with the utmost professionalism and respect! I love my vitaclay and use it all the time to cook brown rice and vegetables. It is safe and easy to clean. I'm sorry I broke the cover after one year and now know where to buy a new one. It is a real kicking any piece of plastic or rice cooker tephlon.
