Cosmetic make-up trends for Autumn / Winter 2010
Terry Barber, Director of Makeup Artistry for MAC Cosmetics has provided an overview on what looks like we'll wear for the AW10 season. He sees up back at the sight of luxurious chic and simple sophistication where skin care and makeup really mix.
REDD VELVET
Red lips are back with a passion. On fire red to orange red deep blackened it's not the real shadow, but how you wear it. Lips will be vigorous, strong pigmentation and lip liner will make an appearance but this time for help define a softer edge. But we're not talking about the resurrection of the 80s, look where red lipstick was part of a face fully constituted. This season, the rest of the face will be matched so that the mouth can take the stage and ooze charm. The palette of eye eye will be muted shades of taupe and gray eyes and brown.
There will be a choice of textures: the lacquered look (applying lip gloss on the over lipstick traditional way) or dense the matte look - as suits your mood. Donna Karan on the bridge of all, a brilliant film look Costello Tagliapietra Black went to the red mast high.
Barber advice: DAB bright red in the center of a dark blackened red to stop searching Gothic too.
For women who are wary of bright red lipstick, opt for brick red

SATIN EYE
A reworking of the feline and doe eyes slightly modifying the glamorous smoky eye in wild, beautiful dirty or gothic romance. It's taking the classics and making them fun. Lashes are made to look like fur several fringe and layering with a lot of false eyelashes. On the bridge, Carolina Herrera went to the end of the 70 opulent dark purple and deep red, while Giambattista Valli showed a futuristic and sporty look of Jean Shrimpton and Max Mara went to evil Bond girl with cat eyes graphic.

Burmese Beauty Eye shades of beige pale yellow, dirty gold, frosted green-brown and dark brown liquid eyeliner blackened framed Superslick sparkling dark green, chocolate brown with soft pearl and emerald green, pearl sweet.
Controlled Palace (Russian Blue) - eye masks light pink beige, deep dark berry pearl pink, purple hue in the semi-neutral and deep neutral gray. Superslick liquid eyeliner pearl shiny silver, black with purple-blue freshwater and marine pearl pearl with dark cloth.
Leopard Luxe - eye masks camel halftone, halftone frosted yellow-orange with a brown dirty gold pearl and frosted black hot. Superslick liquid eyeliner pearl yellow gold polished gray mixed with black pearl sweet and true.
But do not start sharpen your claws yet ready to pounce on these products because they will not be available until September
VEIL VEIL
The most modern tendencies, here the face is in limbo, without hard lines. The colors used are from the cooler end of the spectrum - silver / tin / taupe / mauve. Khaki used instead of black soft smoky eye. A Gothic look is aggressive with the black removed to create a romantic flirt more fragile. Another is the scope of polished and neat look in classic neutrals. And another is a tragic heroine sweet look - it's all about creating moods. On the bridge Chloe chose the sophisticated luxury while looking French actress Felder Felder chose a theme inspired gothic light and soft.
The lips are either shades nude with a hint of a shade of gray as MAC's Fresh Brew, Love and Honey Honey Flower or slightly colored in harmony with the dark veil.
Advanced Barber: On the podium models wore smoky blue gray eyes. Real women should stick to gray brown minky to stop gazing bruised.
With this trend you are using the composition to express a mood rather than focusing on particular characteristics.
CASHMINK
A combination of cashmere and mink tones finishes this look is based on texture, shape and color rather than highlights. However, it is not the contours of the 80 razor-sharp flakes and iridescent highlights but a dyed transparent to light and light reflections contours to create a big look for dew naked. It is the sculpture with a base of cream and mineralized MAC products that add texture without being greasy. Heat is provided by shades using such as Minky Caramel, toffee, tea, ocher and rust. On the bridge Christopher Kane went for the sporty and young Isaac Mizrahi for jelly Siberian Winter Storm theme.
The lips are neutral colors to blend and tone skin or very "natural" with just MAC lip conditioner
For the very brave, mascara free lashes brings a modern androgynous gaze.
