Removing oil-based makeup:
The trick for removing household oil-based make-up is to use a "pre-wash stain remover" and spray it directly on the stain. Do not rub the stain! Whether the solution soaking into the carpet, as most chemicals take some time (lipstick and mascara will take longer). After the solution has had time soaking, rinse the stain with lukewarm water and dab the spot (remember do not rub). The stain should be faded or completely disappeared.
