what is the difference between the powder and gel Acrylic Nails?

My friend and I will do our nails done in a room and wondered what kind it do. there is a choice between the gel and powder, but we have no idea which last longer, * * look better, feel better, yadayadayada. any info on acrylic nails is great. just do not say how bad it makes your nails, we completely know and we'll do it when same.
